CVCA & SLOVCA Awards 2023 pozná svojich víťazov

The second year of the joint Czech-Slovak CVCA & SLOVCA Awards is over. The goal of this event is to recognize achievements in the field of private equity and venture capital in both our countries. In this space arose the competition of viable projects, of which we had the opportunity to see the best ones on the list of finalists.

The awards were jointly granted by SLOVCA (Slovak Venture Capital & Private Equity Association) and CVCA (Czech Private Equity and Venture Capital Association). Among the nominations, the expert international jury selected three finalists in each of the eight awarded categories. The winners in the individual categories were subsequently chosen by online voting by CVCA and SLOVCA members.

We are very pleased that in the Venture Capital Deal of the Year (SR) category, the company Powerful Medical, which we supported with investment in June 2022 as part of an investment round in the amount of EUR 6.2 million, won. Representatives of Bpd Partners, Crowdberry, Kinstellar and Mazars came to take over the award together with us in the gardens of the Grand Mark Hotel in Prague.

Powerful Medical provides innovative AI-based healthcare solutions that help doctors accurately diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases. With the help of their PMcardio clinical assistant, doctors can interpret electrocardiograms (ECG) several times more accurately and diagnose cardiovascular diseases. After a successful launch in Great Britain, they are aiming for other European markets and then the USA.
