Detection of poisonous and combat gases or chemical substances up to a distance of six kilometers?
The Slovak technological company SEC Technologies can be proud for its world unique laser device Falcon 4G. Thanks to long-term efforts and research, this company has become one of the world leaders in the field of gas detection and has no direct competition in the world within its scope.

Falcon 4G, as the only active remote detector on the world market, can detect even very small concentrations at considerable distances in kilometers, with a sensitivity that can only be surpassed by contact detectors. Thus, it finds its use not only in the defense industry, but also in the civilian market when monitoring pollution in various areas, or when monitoring greenhouse gases, or exploring oil or gas fields.

"Our research and development team has been working on chemical and later biological remote detection for more than 35 years. We verify and test innovations directly with end users, which is why we are in intensive contact with the armed forces, the police, firefighters, representatives of the chemical industry, but also the office in the field of environmental control," explains SEC Technologies CEO Viktor Primus.

The company SEC Technologies is an example of the enormous potential of Slovak companies in the possibility of succeeding on the global stage as well. We are therefore very happy that one of the first investments in the history of our fund went to this project. The investment in the amount of 3 million euros provided in cooperation with Crowdberry enabled the increase of production capacities and the expansion to the civilian market, which additionally strengthened the social significance of this project.

"For us, the entry of important investors such as the Venture to Future Fund means, first of all, an expression of trust in our team and in our product. Thanks to this trust and investment, we can continue to improve the original Slovak technology and maintain a technological lead on the world market." Viktor Primus, CEO of SEC Technologies.
